1. Power in the Blood
As the Son of God, Jesus enjoyed all the powers of Divinity. But it was His sinless human life that empowered His blood to give us access to God, forgive sins, cleanse the conscience, make men holy, and rescue sinners from empty lives.

2. Jesus Demonstrated POWER to Heal, Forgive, and Give Life
People were healed when “power” went out from Jesus (Luke 6:17-19; 8:42-50)
Jesus’ power over physical illness proves His power over spiritual illness (Luke 5:24)
Jesus’ ability to give and restore life proves the Divine nature of His power (Luke 8:51-56; John 5:21-27; 10:17-18)

3. There is POWER in the Blood of Jesus
The power of Jesus’ blood flows from His sinless human life!
1 Peter 1:19 speaks of “the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
1 Peter 3:18 tells us that “Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust…”

4. There is POWER in the Blood of Jesus
Through Jesus’ blood…
We gain access to God (Hebrews 10:19; Eph. 2:13)
There is forgiveness of sins (Eph. 1:7; Matthew 26:28)
The conscience is cleansed (Hebrews 9:14)
We are made holy (Hebrews 13:12; 12:14)
We are able to overcome Satan (Revelation 12:11)
We are rescued from an empty life (1 Peter 1:18-19)

5. “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
