PROJECT DRIVERS Staff Development is a key priority for the University and currently there is no dedicated/specialized space to serve this need. An opportunity exists to create an integrated staff lounge within a food & beverage precinct in Building 9. 3

Rationale for locating Staff Development in B 8 4 The size of this space meets the requirements of a specialized staff development facility Open plan layout makes conversion cost effective The size of the existing staff lounge exceeds demand requirements (284m2 with seating for 100) – Inefficient use of space
