Purpose is the reason and original intent of God for a person’s being and it links that person to eternity past and eternity future (Jer 1:4-5). It is fixed, cast iron and cannot be changed in the course of a lifetime. It is determined by God and God alone. This is why it is a Spiritual Statement focused on eternal values. It is not transferable.
Vision is a future expectation which is within human determination with or without God’s assistance. It is temporary, can be variable and is transferable. In short, it is a process of starting a new work and growing it to success within a time frame.
Add your reference Scripture that links you to God. This provides certainty and thrust. FRAME it and position it strategically as a REMINDER of why YOU ARE.
Be daily occupied with living out this Purpose through a PLAN and a PROGRAMME
This is the surest way of fighting the good fight of faith and having a good report and star-studded crown when you meet the Master at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
