< 5 “Civic Education and Democracy in Georgia: Challenges and Pathways” < 1 “Global Challenges in the 21st Century in Promoting Active Citizenship and Civic Education. < 2 “Civic Education for Sustainability” < 3 “Promoting Active Citizenship” < 4 “Digital Citizenship in the Globally Connected World” Short Certification Courses using some units of these CURE courses will be piloted in the new academic year

Level of the course: Bachelor (Optional) Number of Credits: 5 ECTS Existing Course Name: “Democracy and Citizenship” The course was updated by the following 3 Units of the CURE Course: Origins of formation and development of Democracy and Civil Society; Human Rights and their Protection Mechanisms Democracy and active citizenship Number of students enrolled in Spring semester 2018: 18 First-year students
