3. Measure H
Measure H was a 2017 ballot measure for a 10-year countywide quarter-cent sales tax to fund homeless services
Prior to the election, Council voted unanimously to support Measure H
Approved by voters on March 7, 2017 by 69% of all voters and 74% of Pasadena voters
Collection of funds began on Oct 1, 2017

4. Direct Funding for CoC’s
Four Continuums of Care in LA County – Long Beach, Glendale, Pasadena and LAHSA (85 cities and the unincorporated areas).
On April 10, 2017, initiated by Pasadena, the Mayors of Long Beach, Glendale and Pasadena sent a joint letter to the LA County Board of Supervisors requesting direct Measure H funding.
On June 13, 2017, the BOS approved a motion to provide direct Measure H funding to the three Continuum of Care cities.

10. Expenditure Challenges

11. LAHSA Contract
Any FY Measure H revenue unexpended as of June 30, 2019 will be allowed to rollover into FY 19-20
Upon receipt of the funds, staff will undertake a Competitive Selection Process in order to contract with community-based organizations to provide the approved services

Recruit to fill existing vacant grant funded case management position
City will issue a Request for Proposals to allocate funds to homeless service providers.
