Over the years, I have seen countless international matches at all levels, and I cannot begin to tell you how important the role of international competition is in the development of youth soccer players and teams. IberCup facts: Jamor Sports Complex, located 5 miles from Lisbon center Near the beach 250+ teams from 40+ different countries Youth academy teams from top pro clubs like FC Porto, SL Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Liverpool FC, Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus, Atletico de Madrid, Inter Milan,Chivas Guadalajara, Paris St Germain and CR Vasco da Gama, IberCup program: Monday, June 30: Day at leisure, sightseeing in Lisbon. Tuesday, July 1: Start tournament, opening ceremony. Wednesday, July 2: IberCup continued. Thursday, July 3: IberCup continued, coaches game. Friday, July 4: IberCup semi finals, evening party for participants. Saturday, July 5: Ibercup finals, prize/award ceremony. Sunday, July 6: Flight to Barcelona. IberCup – July 1-5, 2014
IberCup Accommodations Hotel accommodation: 3-star hotel in the Lisbon area not far from tournament fields and within walking distance of the beach. Rooms for 4 people include private bathroom, central A/C, phone TV and Wi-Fi. Facilities of the hotel include restaurant/cafeteria, lounge area and swimming pool. Triples and doubles are available as well; $ 170.00 supplement per person per stay sharing a triple room and $250.00 supplement per person per stay sharing a double room. Accommodation option: (for parents/family members): 4-star hotel close to the beach or in the Lisbon area close to the tournament fields. Rooms for 2-3 people include private bathroom, central A/C, phone TV and Wi-Fi. Facilities of the hotel include a restaurant, bar, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness center. Mediterraneo Summer Cup Accommodations Hotel accommodation : 3 star rating (Spanish classification) in seaside resorts such as Lloret de Mar, Blanes and Tossa de Mar. The accommodation is situated near the town center and/or beach. Distance to Barcelona is approx 30-35 miles. All rooms (3 and 4 bedded rooms) have a shower and toilet as well as air-conditioning. Some rooms have queen beds for 2 people. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, lounge, reception and an outdoor swimming pool. Double rooms available as well at a supplement of $15.00 per person per night.
Sports program/tournament entrance The sports program is customized to meet your preferences. Payment information Payment schedule: Deposit of $500 per person with booking before October 15 Monthly payments of $500 each month thereafter Balance 7 weeks prior to departure, May 20, 2014 New: We now accept credit card payments (VISA and Master Card). We can arrange monthly payments for participants who will complete a credit card authorization form. Detailed information will be available on request. Important: One person within your club or team is our contact and will be responsible to coordinate all payments and the tour information being supplied to all participants.
