4 American Red Cross I donated blood at several of the VSU blood drives. Every pint donated can save up to 3 lives.

5 FYE Tennis Toss I helped number the 250 tennis balls that were included in the tennis toss that benefited various programs such as American Red Cross and Safe Haven.

6 Lowndes County Animal Shelter I spent an evening at the animal shelter making sure the animals were cared for (had food, water, clean pens) and then enjoyed playing with them for social time.

7 International Pancake Day! Anyone who came to IHOP on International Pancake Day received a free plate of pancakes. A donations box was placed at the front of the restaurant and all the money gathered benefited The Childrens Miracle Network.

8 Superstar Valdosta I helped set up and serve the food at Superstar Valdosta, a singing competition, which was hosted by the South Georgia Chapter of American Red Cross.

9 I attended the VSU Pink-Out Football Game to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

10 VSU Tennis Fundraiser I purchased a VSU tennis t-shirt to support our Blazers!

11 What I Learned o Its awesome to help out in my community. o People really appreciate when youre willing to help out. o Its definitely possible to volunteer and have fun simultaneously. o Animals are cute and everyone should adopt a pet from a shelter!

12 See!!!! Theyre too darn cute to resist!!! Adopt a pet!!! =]
