2. In 1496 England sponsored John Cabot for his first voyage

3. On June 24,1496 he found Canada with 17 men 1 ship and him self as a merchant.

4. Like Christopher Columbus he didn’t know that he found a new land
Like Christopher Columbus he didn’t know that he found a new land. Also when he got there he clamed the land for England.

5. The reason john was sailing he wanted to find a route to Asia also when he was there he claimed land and help get information for maps.

6. John was also a expert in navigation
John was also a expert in navigation. That helped him sail the ocean to find Canada.

7. Historians don’t Know what happened to John some people say he got in a shipwreck other say he returned to England and died soon after.
