8 Pet Food Manufacturers market their products in this manner to appeal to the consumer, NOT because it is beneficial to pets Industry marketing studies have shown that even BIGGER profits can be made if the product is humanized. When presented with pet food that resembles human food, the consumer believes they are feeding their cat or dog human quality, nutritious food.
