Give students 2 file cards and a sheet of dots. Invite them to create 2 different five cards. Remember 5 is made with 3 and 2, not in a straight line.

Describe and compare the different fives. Build equations for equal, same as we did for 2 and 3. Give out dot collections and have students circle five. If there are leftovers they can record 5+ expression.
