12 Project Steps Create tessellation template with 3”x3” paper, scissors, and tape. Trace 5 shapes on sketch paper to make sure they interlock correctly, then create at least 3 optional images within the shapes and get them approved. Use ruler to LIGHTLY section off 9”x12” paper in three, 3in. wide rows (horizontally). Trace template all over paper (using ruler lines as guide for spacing and evenness). Begin shading with colored pencils!

You Will Need: Square piece of paper Scissors Tape Cut out shape from TOP of square. SLIDE and tape on BOTTOM. Cut out shape from RIGHT side of square. SLIDE and tape on LEFT side.
