2. AC Requirements
The only requirement for staying in AC social studies is to maintain an 80 average in the class
In order to remain in any Advanced Content/Advanced Social Studies/A.O.L. class, students must maintain a minimum of an 80 at the end of the 9 weeks. If the average is below an 80 at the end of a grading period, the student will be placed on probation. This probation continues for the remainder of the school year. If the grade drops below an 80 for a second time in the school year, the student may be removed from the class for one semester and must apply for re-entry.

4. Each Unit contains Geography of the Region History of the Region
Economics of the Region
Government of the Region

5. Supplies 3 or 4 spiral or composition notebooks
Folder for handouts (get one with a plastic or vinyl cover so it will last)
Pencils, pens, notebook paper to be maintained throughout the year
Coloring materials (crayons, markers, or colored pencils your choice)
Scissors/glue sticks

6. Donations (if you can please!)
Kleenex
Hand Sanitizer
Markers
Glue sticks
Color Copy Paper
Student scissors (only need about 10 pair-so sign up with me)
Candy/prizes

7. Volunteer opportunities
Cook for our café’ (when we study foreign cultures)
Copies for 6A
Decoration for special occasions
Anything you think we need to do to make 6A the place to be!
