3 History Bluenose  The original Bluenose was launched as a Grand Banks fishing and racing schooner on 26 March 1921 in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. It was designed by William Roué and built by the Smith and Rhuland Shipyard.

6 Where did the Bluenose come from
When: In1963 . Where :Lunenburg city , Nova Scotia province. Now : The ship is parked in Lunenburg city.

7 Why?? Bluenose struck a reef of Isle aux Vache, Haiti on 28 January 1946. For commemorating this great erection.

8 Leaking and worn out, it was dismantled in 2010, and rebuilt in the same shipyard as its ancestors in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. It launched in 2013

9 ??????? To eliminate hoggingin the future and ensure the vessel remains a constant presence on our waters for decades to come. In 1963, Bluenose II was launched.

10 In its role as an ambassador, Bluenose II has been a frequent presence for trade visits and international promotions for Nova Scotia and Canada. Bluenose came to symbolize Nova Scotia's prominence in the fishing and shipbuilding industries. She represented Canada around the world.
