7 Draper Intermediate School Meeting the needs of ALL students
Advanced Academics (English Language Arts, Math, Science) Students will qualify for advanced courses by content for reading, math, and/or science. The following student data will be utilized to determine eligibility: State Assessment performance (STARR), Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) unit assessment averages and teacher input. Parents notified of advanced placement in July (via or letter) Questions about schedule and/or placement contact me Gifted and Talented (ELA classes) Special Education (Inclusion support, Co-teach classes, Resource and Functional Academic Structured Environment (FASE) Section 504 (General education w/accommodations) Alpha Phonics (Dyslexia Services) English as a Second Language (ESL) Bilingual Dual Language (Two way) Counseling Support (individual, group based on need, classroom guidance) **Currently enrolled in Wylie ISD all cumulative records and program needs automatically follow the student

8 Hours & Transportation
Student hours 8:15am – 3:30pm Doors unlock at 7:45am 5th grade students gather in gym until first bell / breakfast served in cafe Buses drop off / pick up in back (Routes & Times) Car riders drop off / pick up in front (two lanes)

75 minute core subject classes -English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies -Departmentalized 40 minute PE 40 minute Elective rotation -Hallway Heroes, Choral music, Instrumental music, Art, College & Career 30 minute Lunch/recess
