Each Scout is Responsible For:
Clothing (The key to cold weather camping is to stay warm and dry. Bring both light and heavy weight clothing in order to "layer" if the weather is cold.)
Uniform (class A shirt)
3 T-shirts (class B preferred)
4 changes underwear
1 pair long thermal underwear
4 pairs socks (thick wool)
2 pair long pants
2 long sleeve shirts
Hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants (to sleep in)
1 pair winter boots or heavy shoes
1 pair extra shoes (tennis shoes)
Warm coat (suitable for camping environment)
Stocking cap
Gloves or mittens
Poncho or raingear
Hat for sun/rain
Bedding
Winter sleeping bag
Blankets (to put over/under sleeping bag)
Pillow + pillow case
Pad to go under sleeping bag
Activities
Scout Handbook
Small pocket knife or multitool
Day pack
Pencils/pens
Notebook or writing paper
Special equipment for merit badges
Other Items
Footlocker or similar (lockable)
Combination lock for foot locker
Coat hanger (for class A)
