2. LESI By-laws ARTICLE IX - Finances
Section 1 .  Dues and budget.  (a) Each Member Society shall pay annual dues to LES International as established by the Board of Directors and approved by the Board of Delegates. Dues shall be based on the number of members of the Member Society as of December 31 of each calendar year according to the directory of members on the LESI website or a written list of members supplied to the LESI Treasurer or secretariat by a Member Society as of December 31.  Absent a written list of members received by LESI on or before December 31, LESI shall be entitled to rely on the directory of members on the LESI website. 3. Draft Student Policy Eligibility:
To be a full time student enrolled in a university or college approved the National/Regional Society;
The National/Regional Society must have its own Student Program;
The ratio of Student members to total Members of a National/Regional Society must be lower than 5%.
Dues/Rates and Adjustment:
The amount of the dues payable to LESI by the National/Regional Society for a Student member will be reduced by 50% of the amount than applicable for regular members.
 Reduced Benefits: 
A Student Member will not have access to the following:
Printed publications such as les Nouvelles or any successor publication;
Specific benefits:
The National/Regional Society must encourage the participations of Student members to the Young Members Congress.
National Society Reporting to LESI and Delegates
Each National/Regional Society shall provide a separate report with the names of each of their student members as of December 31st of each year.
No Student member will be included in the membership count for calculating the number of delegates of a National/Regional Society.

4. Resolution sought:
RESOLVED, that, effective as January 1st, 2016, the Student Membership Policy be and is hereby adopted as presented to the International Delegates at this meeting, a copy of the Student Policy so adopted is to be attached to the minutes of this meeting.
