Shikoku Electric deployed an IBM System z9 Business Class mainframe server to provide an integrated, virtualized platform for the SAP EAM implementation. The company implemented an Integrated Facility for Linux (IFL) specialty processor as well as an IBM System z Integrated Information Processor (zIIP) to free up system resources and improve performance.
