Mystery, fear, confusion? “Revelation” means? “Revelation” = something revealed. Strange contrast? Why not clarity & confidence? Personal desire to share.

2 SIMPLE REVELATION Approach Simple
Focus on literal (means what it says – avoid speculation). What did it mean to them (try to pretend we’re them)? Keys Let Jesus set the context (this generation, soon, near, quickly). Rev. - 1st 3 verses mean what they say. Let pictures be pictures (apocalyptic = picture language). Let the Word provide explanation (is, are, tell).
