7 Once you get a general idea about your topic you will move from reference material that speaks generally about your topic to materials with more specific information. Monographs: full-length books dealing with a relatively narrow topic. Creating the Constitution. The following Journals are available through EBSCO database provided by FBISD. Journal Articles: American Historical Review, Journal of American History, Past and Present (Academic Search Premier) to name a few.

Should contain 3 to 5 sentences telling the source’s purpose, content and special value. Collier, Christopher and James Lincoln Collier. Creating the Constitution. This source had many primary source documents which led me to further my investigation of my topic. The book finishes with how our world is impacted today because of the ground work of our founding fathers. *For each source card, make one of your note cards an annotated note card.
