6 Engage Here are just a few leaders. Do you know who they are?

7 Engage In small groups, discuss what characteristics and qualities are needed for someone to be a good leader (what would make you follow them?). Then share your ideas. Would you like to be a leader?

8 Engage Successful sports people and other performers are leaders in their chosen area. Some of them are supported by their religious faith. Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool and England striker: ‘I do all through Christ who strengthens me.’

11 Respond Amen Almighty God, We pray for all leaders.
We thank you for the talents and abilities you have given them to share with others and lead them in different ways. May our leaders use their talents wisely to do good. We also thank you Lord that you gave us the leadership of your son Jesus Christ, who gave his life to serve others and be an example to all leaders. Amen
