5 Homework Thank you WPO for assignment books!
Math Study Link (please check!) We are doing the Math Units in a different order. First trimester covers a bit of Unit 1, and most of Unit 2, 4, and 7. The purpose of doing it this way is to cover the standards in a timely fashion. W.E.B. Reading and Writing Let’s try to read and write a summary every night for minutes! 120 minutes per week

6 Homework FYI’s Homework notices – Used for incomplete or missing work. Need to be signed and returned. Assignment still needs to be done. 5th grade policy – Students may not call home for assignments or materials. This includes band instruments

7 Out of Class Band, Speech, interventions, etc. Sick? Vacations
Buddy system – record sheets provided. Sick? Make up time/instruction will be provided. Vacations Work will be made up when student returns.

Native American Cultural regions, European Explorers, Colonial Period, Slavery, Revolutionary War Often taught in conjunction with Language Arts
