To re-introduce Eastern Ontario native plant species
Raise awareness about our native plants and why bioversity is important

2. The Need
Kitchissippi Ward has the second lowest per capita ratio of people to park space in Ottawa
Children have little “naturalized” greenspace to learn about biodiversity

3. Community Involvement
The wild garden will be built and maintain by community volunteers.
Special emphasis will be placed on involving children, teens and seniors.
Community organizations will help with outreach activities
