Who is Gollum? Briefly describe his character and his life in the caves. What is his objective or purpose?
What does Bilbo overhear Gandalf and the dwarves talking about before he comes forward? What is the one thing Bilbo doesn’t tell the others about his escape?
Do the dwarves ever show any bravery in protecting Bilbo? Do any of their actions affect or change our opinion about their nature?
