After care
Apply aftercare lotion for 48 hours
Do not pick any scabs – do tell the therapist/salon
No UV exposure
Avoid tight clothing in the area
No make up on the area
Avoid heat treatments 48 hours
Avoid hot baths/showers for 48 hours
Avoid perfumes and lotions
Avoid touching the skin
Hair management techniques – cut the hair at the skin surface. No plucking or waxing as this will distort the hair follicle
Correct aftercare ensures client’s manage hair regrowth correctly, reduce risk of infection or side effects to tissues
