3 Deuteronomy 5:1-5 3 It was not with our ancestors
that the Lord made this covenant, but with us,  with all of us who are alive here today.  4 The Lord spoke to you face to face  out of the fire on the mountain.  5 (At that time I stood between the Lord and you to declare to you the word of the Lord, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain.) And he said:

4 who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

Exodus 20 8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.  9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,  10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work.

8 so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

15 “In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as they saw fit.”
Judges 17:6 / 21:25 “In those days Israel had no king;  everyone did as they saw fit.”

16 Galatians 3:24 “the law was our guardian until Christ came”

17 The Law only breeds two things:
Defeat if you’re honest Hypocrisy if you’re not.

18 “I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law.
Romans 7:7 “I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law.

19 “14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual,
Romans 7:14-17 “14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual,  sold as a slave to sin.  15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

20 “16 And if I do what I do not want to do,
Romans 7:14-17 “16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.  17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.”

21 A GOSPEL that does not confront sin is not the gospel of Jesus Christ.
