Step 1 - Connect to Working Network Drop

If not, use the control panel to navigate to Network Settings and set it to DHCP

Should be near the DHCP setting or on the printer’s LCD screen

Make sure to use the host name in the “IP Address or Hostname” field. Host name and hostname are interchangeable. You will see it as one word or as two in varying places.

Printers can easily be deployed outside the scope of a single campus…this is not a good thing!

This may lead to a “name already exists” error.
A problem may lie in the settings of the printer itself or in the printer’s Printer Logic settings—fix those.
