2 Participants came from all over the US, but more than half (24) came from the northeast, not the states that one normally associates with the controversy.

3 27 are teaching at 4-yr colleges or above
27 are teaching at 4-yr colleges or above. But 3 are teaching at High Schools and one is teaching in a K-12 school, indicating the wide range of the age of students that will be influenced by the developments of this Round Table.

4 Most of the participants had doctoral degrees, three of the Master’s degree holders were working on their doctoral degree. Some of the doctoral degree holders had more than one doctoral degree.

5 Most of the participants (30) came from larger universities; 6 came from some of the largest and most prestigious universities in the country.

6 Most of the participants came from the departments from the various science-math disciplines, but note that there were 4 philosophers, 2 educators, and 1 theologian.

7 For the most part, participants are well-established in their fields
For the most part, participants are well-established in their fields. We even have three who hold special positions that identify them as being outstanding.

8 Many of these topics embrace evolution without including it in their course title. Seven evolution courses are being regularly taught by participants. Also note that five philosophy courses and four religion courses are taught by participants.
