2 What is the Amazon Rainforest?
The Amazon is the largest tropical rainforest in the world, covering over half of Brazil and other South American countries. Here is some information about it!

3 Animals and Wildlife There are over 30 million animals in the Amazon – 10% of the worlds known species! 90% of organisms live in the Amazon. Another name for the Amazon is ‘The Lungs of the Earth’ because there are so many trees that produce oxygen for us to breath. People who live in the Amazon live in tribes. Tribes are groups of indigenous people who connect themselves to nature. Because they live in the nature they have to hunt food. Some tribes only hunt for food because they need to. Now a days, some tribes are adapting to civilizations. There are different tribes and to notice they’re from different tribes they act or dress in a certain way

There is a lot of dangerous species that live in the Amazon like cougars, jaguar and anaconda In the Amazon lays the Amazon River. The Amazon River is the 2nd longest river in the World next to the River Nile. It is 6,992 km long ½ of the Amazon is located in Brazil but is also in Other South American countries such as Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.

6 What you can find in the Amazon Rainforest
In the Amazon, you can find many things. For example, you can find many foods like avocados, grapefruit, lemons and bananas. You can also find lots of different animal species and plant species. Animals that live in the Amazon include the Scarlet Macaw, sloths, toucans and poison dart frogs.
