4. U.S. International Transactions: 2nd Quarter 2018
Exports of goods and services increased in the second quarter by $28 billion to put the total exports receipt at $933.3 billion.
Goods exports increased by $3.9 billion to $259.9 billion. The areas where the increases were obvious was in petroleum and food, specifically soybeans.

5. Monthly Sales for Retail and Food Service
The U.S. sold $509 billion in food and services. This was increase of 0.1 percent from July and a 6.6 percent increase from August 2017.
Gas stations were up percent from last August, and Nonstore Retailers were up percent since last August.

6. Other Economic News
As the trade war continues between the U.S. and China Alibaba took back a promise to create 1 million U.S. jobs. This comes on the heals of continued tariffs from both countries.
Stanley Black & Decker announced the new line of Craftsman tools after buying the company from Sears. The company will also debut a new logo.
Nike faced a 3% decrease in shares Tuesday after the release.
