A, Surgical wound of lower right lip after excision of squamous cell carcinoma. B-D, A shiny lower lip with markedly erythematous, punctuated papules is seen, each possessing a central pore from which clear mucinous stringy material exudes, augmented here by squeezing the lip between thumb and forefinger. The surgical wound is well healed with no evidence of recurrence of carcinoma.
