Competence The procedure is conducted at the relevant organizational unit (OU: faculty/Academy of Arts) where the applicant wishes to continue education Three members committee is formed on the level of a study programe for a period of one year Support by the faculty administrative staff Committee evaluates the documentation, prepares a report and recomends the decision to the Faculty Council (FC) of OU

4 Application and documents
Application (standardized form) is submitted to the OU competent for the relevant field of study Documents accompanying the application (translated by authorized court interpreter): birth certificate, certified copy of the diploma, copy of the master thesis (where relevant), list of passed exams, copy of the curriculum

5 Finacial obligations Fee for recognition/evaluation is determined by the Governing Board of the UBL Current price is 500 for the first cycle/1000 KM for the second cycle Fee is paid by the applicant when submitting the application

6 Deadlines, Decision and Remedies
Deadline for the report to the FC and the decision of the OU is 60 days from submitting the application Decision on recognition is issued by the FC Complaint to the Senate of the UBL within 15 days Administrative court proceedings against the decision of the Senate

7 Evaluation procedure I
On the basis of the submitted documentation and/or information gathered from other sources, including CIP, foreign HEI and other bodies (A 168 of the Statute) Comparison with local system in substance, taking into account the criteria set in provisions of the FHEL of BaH, A. 8, para. 2 and LHE of the RS, A127, para. 2 and A 128.) If no substantive differences, the decision on recognition is issued and continuation of education at UBL without additonal obligations granted Decision may include additional obligations for the applicant (exams, papers, research activities)

Respecting the relevant laws, bylaws, institutional procedural and substantive rules and Adhering to the international obligations (bilateral and multilateral), including the Lisabon Convention......(A 163. of the Statute of the UBL) Exemptions envisaged in A 128. of LHE of the RS Qualifications before 6 April 1992 Qualifications from Serbia
