2. Color Project Peer Critique:
Answer each question thoughtfully:
Look carefully at the artwork and discuss the elements and principles of art that were used in this artwork. Do you feel the artist has done a good job utilizing the elements and principles? Why or why not?
Does the Imagery used appeal to you visually (how it looks) and emotionally (what it makes you feel about the color)? What is the narrative/story? Is it clear to you or not? Explain.
What do you think is successful about this artwork? Explain.
What could be improved? Offer some constructive advice about how this student could improve their artwork. Comment on composition, symbolism, photoshop techniques, and color adjustments. Should they add an image, make it bigger, omit an image, etc.

3. Text Effects Project:
Complete 2 unique “text effect” tutorials.
1 text effect should visually illustrate a word.
1 text effect should visually illustrate a different word.
Browse the text effect tutorials and find 2 complex tutorials to complete. Each should take you at least 45 minutes to complete.
Example words: explode, shatter, rust, grow, float, splash, freezing.
Include a complementary background or environment.
Your word MAY NOT BE the SAME WORD as the tutorial you follow. You must create a new word.
You will turn in your final 2 words and the original text effect images from the tutorials you followed.
