1 OCT left eye (case 3). OCT showed bilateral foveal atrophy (white arrows), with an island of preserved retina in the left fovea (yellow arrow; only left eye shown); this is known as a ‘bull’s eye’ appearance and can occur in a variety of toxic, hereditary and degenerative maculopathies. OCT, optical coherence tomography.
