FC Motagua is now unbeaten in it´s last six domestic matches, with three wins and three draws. The Hondurans now sit atop the Liga Nacional table with an 8-W 4-D 3-L record and 28 points. FC Motagua has not conceded goals in four SCL matches, conceded two goals from Portmore (Ricardo Morris and Javon East) and two from Tauro (Edwin Aguilar (2)  FC Motagua lost only one game in the last five away games W-3 D-1 L-1 (Includes SCL and SCCL).  FC Motagua record in Concacaf Scotiabank League (SCL) GP- 6 W-5 L-1 GF- 11 GA- 4 FC Motagua qualified for the SCL final by eliminating Belmopan Bandits (BLZ) 3-0 on aggregate, in the quarterfinals to Portmore United (JAM) 5-2 on aggregate and in semifinals to Tauro FC. (PAN) 3-2 on aggregate. FC Motagua has only lost one away game in its last five Concacaf matches: 3-W-1D-1L (includes SCL and SCCL). FC Motagua is second in average goals per game in the history of the SCL: 1.8 goals per game (11 goals), behind the 2017 SCL Champion, CD Olimpia also from Honduras, (1.88 average). Motagua has (11) goals scored in the SCL 2018: 8 have been by Hondurans (Rubilio Castillo (3), Juan Pablo Montes (3) and Kévin López (2), one from Argentina (Matías Galvaliz and two from Paraguay (Roberto Moreira: All the goals were scored by the starters. Juan Pablo Montes (FC Motagua): The team captain has three goals (Portmore United (2) and Tauro FC. Javier Estupiñán (FC Motagua): The Colombian striker was champion with CD Olimpia in 2017 SCL. To date, he has played 9 matches in the SCL, five with Olimpia and four with FC Motagua. Rubilio Castillo (FC Motagua): Has scored three goals (all vs. Portmore United). He is also the highest scorer in the history of FC Motagua with 80 goals Herediano suffered its fourth straight defeteat a 0-1 home loss to Perez Zeledon. CS Herediano and FC Motagua each have conceded four goals in the 2018 SCL (0.67 x game).  CS Herediano did not concede goals in three home games; it gave up two goals to Santa Tecla in the round of 16, one to Universitario in the quarterfinals (own-goal goal by Keyner Brown) and one to Árabe Unido in Semifinals. Club Sport Herediano qualified for the final of the SCL after winning on away goals in the Round of 16 vs. Santa Tecla of (SLV) 2-2 on aggregate, in the quarterfinals to CD Universitario of Panama (5-1) on aggregate and in the semifinals vs. Deportivo Àrabe Unido (PAN) (2-1) on aggregate. CS Herediano has a five-match unbeaten streak at Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero W-4, and D-1 in both the SCL and Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL). The last defeat for CS Herediano at home was against Tigres U.A.N.L. in the SCCL, on August 17, 2016, (3-1) José Sánchez (Herediano); Fernando Fernández, Damián Álvarez and Jorge Espericueta (Tigres). CS Herediano has only lost one of the 12 home games W-9 D-2 L-1 in the SCL and SCCL Concacaf: 1.8 goals per game (11 goals), second behind the 2017 SCL Champion, CD Olimpia also from Honduras, (1.88 average). CS Herediano scored at least one goal in its last 14 home games in Concacaf tournaments (includes SCL and SCCL). Its last game without scoring a goal was the 0-0 draw vs. LA Galaxy in the SCCL, on March 7, Since then, Herediano has averaged 2.2 goals per game in its home stadium. 100% of Herediano's goals in Liga Concacaf 2018 (9 goals) were scored by players born in Costa Rica: Junior Diaz, Yendrick Ruiz (5), Jimmy Marin, Keyner Brown, and Jose Ortiz. In total, 8 goals were scored by starting players and two by substitutes.
