Drilling Optimization is really a combination of three things;
Rig KPI & Benchmarking - Flat Time Performance, Rig Reliability & controlling NPT, Analysis and updating the rigs Operational SOP’s and making sure our operational personnel have the knowledge they need efficiently drill wells for our customers.
2) Drilling Montering and Intervention –Which mostly is done by the Field based Drilling Optimization engineers spread throughout the fleet.
3) Engineering Decisions and Analysis – Which really is lead by the Specialist in the RTOC along with James, Daniel and the rest of the operational team/

3. Another example lies in Trinidad 125 where we provided full service in Drilling Optimization.
Overall Flat Time Performance Increase of 41.5% over a 3 well time frame. See Slides 1-4
Trinidad 125 went from customer threatening non-renewal of contract to becoming the Operators top performer out of 19 rigs.
How? We didn’t have the superintendent go to location every day with a big stick, we focus on Training and teaching our people, not just to focus on what’s above the rotary, but what happens below it to distinguish ourselves as a true Performance Driller.
