4 Mitotic Cell Division Form offspring through mitosis and cell division
Example Amoeba

5 Budding An offspring grows through mitosis and cell division on the parent and then may or may not break off Example Hydra Yeast

6 Animal Regeneration A new organism grows from a part of the parent organism containing the central disk Example planarian sea star sea urchins sea cucumbers sponges

7 Vegetative Reproduction
A new organism grows from the stolon of the parent organism Examples strawberries bananas potatoes geraniums

8 Cloning A new organism is produced in the lab from a cluster of cells from the parent organism Examples Fruits and Vegetables Sheep

9 Advantages of Asexual Reproduction
Organisms can reproduce without a mate. Organisms can produce a large number of offspring.

10 Disadvantages of Asexual Reproduction
Little genetic variation in a population May be harder for an organism to survive Mutations may be passed on to offspring
