Operative Inspection of a Transatrial Exit Site This patient required surgical repair of left ventricular abrasion attributed to the suture delivery sheath. Incidental inspection of the right atrial appendage (asterisk) showed plethora and inflammation, but no bleeding or discrete hole at the site of right atrial exit from the crest of the right atrial appendage (dotted circle).
