4 Goals of Program To build the capacity of youth serving organizations to plan, implement and evaluate theory-based prevention activities To create a community of learners for ongoing support To incorporate theory-based prevention into organizational practices

5 Structure Two, two-day intensives Learning pods CQI Working Group
Portfolio review & graduation celebration in June

6 Intensives January 2015: Planning March 2015: Evaluation
Methods for conducting needs and resources assessments Applying theories of behavior change to programs Creating logic models March 2015: Evaluation Conducting process evaluation Developing outcome evaluation tools Inputting and analyzing data Presenting findings to stakeholders

7 Learning Pods Small learning groups (4-5 people)
Technical assistance sessions at least monthly Provide support and feedback If an organization does not have a tier two learner, we will provide these services to the org.

8 CQI Working Group Teams will be established in conjunction with leadership of your organization Conduct organizational assessment Identify planning and/or evaluation practice(s) to integrate into organizational practice On site meetings over the 6 month project period

9 Portfolios Each participant will compile their work
By the close of the PPI, you will have everything in place to run your program in the summer or fall PPI will keep a copy of portfolios

10 Commitments Attend all sessions
Complete portfolio to the best of your ability Apply the learning to your program/organization Bring questions, concerns, ideas Willingness to share both successes and challenges Participate in program evaluation
