Neuroimaging Figure 2. Post-contrast axial T1WI shows the mass enhances strongly and uniformly. Note “dural tail” extending posteriorly along the tentorium. The left internal carotid artery is occluded.

Neuroimaging Figure 3. Coronal post-contrast T1WI shows the mass expands the cavernous sinus and completely obliterates Meckel’s cave (contrast with the normal Meckel’s cave on the right).

Pathology Meningiomas have a variable histological appearance but are composed of epithelial-like cells that form whorl patterns.
