Currently ELVIS deliveries Foundation Spatial Data for Elevation and Depth, Place Names and soon Imagery and Surface Water.
Focus was to automate the data interoperability and delivery

WPS we found complicated, where AWS gateway API allowed us an easier way to open our data to metadata catelogues

Costs associated with preparing, packaging and shipping geospatial data are considerably reduced or eliminated Effort and costs associated with purchasing equipment and preparing data for shipping are significantly reduced or eliminated In general with the Cloud, geospatial data can be exchanged at much lower costs.

Deploying services at lower cost in the cloud Deploying Geospatial services is relatively easy pay only for the computer resources required to service users. Flexibility to scale systems up and down at any time. OGC-compliant software products (FME Cloud) that have demonstrated a certain level of performance and scalability

Ability to serve content by accessing a greater variety of providers . Providers benefit significant cost reductions by only serving their own data but sharing infrastructure. Automation of services for notify data administrators and update content in almost real time.
