1 Impact of Fiscal Policies on AT&T Financials
Fiscal policies have resulted in positive growth patterns for AT&T. Revenue exhibits yearly growth in the millions. Gross profit margins remain largely the same, with slight drops here and there. Dividends and payout ratios are higher than ever. Speaker Notes: In reviewing AT&T’s financial data, it is clear that the fiscal policies adopted by the Federal Reserve in recent years have resulted in moderately positive growth patterns for AT&T. Revenue has climbed by the millions each year since 2005, while gross profit margins have gone up and down just a bit, indicating spending in different areas such as R&D or various investments. Dividends and payout ratio are higher than they have ever been which are good news for investors. All of At&T’s financials are earmarks of a positive response to the Federal Reserve’s policies designed to increase price stability.

2 AT&T Investments Moderate interest rates and focus on price stability have enabled AT&T to make solid investments. Acquisition of DirecTV is one such investment. Netted $39.1 billion in third-quarter revenues. Up 19 percent from the previous year’s figures. The company’s pivotal interest right now is integration of investments—wireless, broadband, and video. Fiscal policy is allowing them the flexibility and safety to explore these options. As stated earlier, AT&T has been able, with the Federal Reserve’s moderate interest rates and focus on pricing stability, to make solid investments in consumer-driven products. One such investment is DirecTV. The acquisition of the satellite giant netted them third-quarter revenues of $39.1 billion, which were nearly 19 percent greater than the year prior. With DirecTV, AT&T has positioned themselves solidly in an integrated place of cross-selling video, wireless, and broadband. According to CEO Stephenson, their early efforts are going phenomenally well and he is excited about where these new opportunities will lead the company.

3 AT&T Business Partnerships and Outreach
AT&T and IBM have partnered to create a scalable mobile cloud solution to protect corporate data and apps (AT&T, "AT&T and IBM team up for mobile cloud security," 2015). AT&T more than doubled its ethernet reach using the AT&T U-verse network (AT&T, "AT&T more than doubles ethernet reach ," 2015). AT&T and Brocade are working together to advance the Network on Demand program (AT&T, "AT&T and Brocade join forces to extend network on demand Platform," 2015). AT&T is also focusing on the business partnership and outreach end of things in order to surpass its competitors and offer a unique and secure experience for its customer base. The luxury to invest time and money in these pursuits is, again, a result of fiscal policy dedicated to steady growth and pricing stability. A brief look at recent news concerning AT&T shows their concern with enhancing technology, security, their networks, and even partnerships with small businesses.
