Cold air moves under warm air & pushes it up Thunderstorms, rain, & snow Warm front Warm air moves over cold air & replaces it Drizzly rain followed by clear weather Occluded front Warm air is trapped b/w 2 cold air masses; cold air pushes warm air up Cool temp. With large amounts of rain or snow Stationary front Cold air meets warm air—neither moves Cloudy, wet weather
