Early Life ~Che Guevara was born on June 14, 1928 in Rosario, Argentina. ~Born to Celia de la Serna and Ernesto Guevara Lynch ~Ernesto had asthma as a kid and since he was born

Education In 1948, Guevara entered the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina to study medicine and to find a cure for cancer. But in 1951, he set off to a motorcycle journey traveling through a lot of countries helping theem all in what he could.

Meeting Fidel Castro Guevara arrived at Mexico city on September 1954.
There he met Fidel Castro, who wanted to over throw the dictator of Cuba and knew Guevara could help him.

Cuban Revolution The first step in Castro's revolutionary plan was an assault on Cuba from Mexico via the Granma, which was an old, leaky cabin cruiser.

Battle of Santa Clara After helping Fidel Castro over take Fulgencio Batista from Cuba..he went to war with them He helped aid the wounded soldiers in the war, which he learned to do at the University of Buenos Aires as a medical student.

International Diplomacy
By December 1964, Che Guevara had emerged as a “revolutionary statesman of world stature”. He traveled to New york city as the head of the Cuban delegation to speak at the united nations.

Congo In 1965, Guevara decided to go to Africa and offer his knowledge and experience as a guerrilla to the ongoing conflict in the Congo.

Capture and execution On October 7th Guevara was surrounded by 1,800 soldiers. He was tied up and sent to a village in La Higuera, Bolivia. After 2 days of not saying a word to the guards, Guevara was shot 9 times and died.

Legacy Over 40 years after his execution, Che’s life and legacy still remains and will remain maybe forever.
