2 Conclusion The conclusion is the final paragraph of your essay. It must contain: Summary Statement Clincher The clincher and the summary statement can come in any order in your conclusion

Summarize your controlling idea Summarize your main points Sum up a general idea of the intended message of your essay.

4 Clincher Strategies Leave the audience with something specific to think about Show appreciation Make a prediction for the future Express hope for the future Use a quotation Create a scenario Complete an anecdote that you began in the introduction Ask a question Call the reader to action Recognize the opposing view point

5 Effective CONCLUSION! To sum it all up, I believe that a course on race car driving is just the thing our school needs to spice up the curriculum. I encourage you to take my recommendation into consideration. In the future, maybe school workers and students can all work together to have a school where students can enjoy high quality, action packed class at school.
