3 Task Cards The museum has provided task cards with information regarding which civilization you will study. Your task card will tell you who will be on your team of curators. Your assignment is to locate four artifacts from the civilization you are studying. You will reproduce the artifacts to display in our exhibit.

4 Project Timeline Day 1 - As group read directions, discuss project, begin research Day 2 – Finish Research, work with group to complete Jigsaw, decide how you will create and display your artifacts Day 3 - Work on artifacts Day 4 – Finish artifacts, write descriptions, and set up display

5 Directions for your Research
Each person in your group is responsible for one aspect of your display. Your task card will tell you who is responsible for each aspect/topic. Use the information in this power point to research your topic and complete your portion of the Jigsaw worksheet. Once all group members have finished researching and completed their part of the Jigsaw, meet as a group and use each others information to learn about your culture and fill in your Jigsaws. Then follow the directions for your display. Click here for the directions for your display click here to start your research

6 Directions for your display
Your display should have at least four items that depict the different aspects of the civilization your group studied. As a group use a story board to design your display. Decide what items you want to display and how you will display them ( for example: pictures, models, diagrams, actual items, shoe box dioramas….) Your group’s display needs to fit in a 3ft x 3ft area (approximately the size of a school desk) Work on your displays during class and at home. Write a description to include with each item in your display. Click here to continue
