2. Hasty generalization- drawing a conclusion from a sample size, rather than looking at statistics that are much more in line with the typical or average situation.

She ails as she must-she never waked this morning, but her eyes open and she walks, and hears naught, sees naught, and cannot eat. Her soul is taken, surely. ACT 1 pg
Mrs. Putnam is jumping to conclusions just because she doesn’t get up this morning and is sleep walking and saying that her soul is taken.
