2. 2 This is a very large and complex STT which makes logistics more challenging! Initial meeting held with the DWA Champion to explore way forward for STT and discuss various constituent working groups and reference groups New DWA Champion has been proposed but no handover as yet

3. 3 Initial meeting held with DWA Champion Agreed in principle to align governance arrangements of NWRS with WSLG structures Reference group (SSC), PSC and the sub-groups have been identified Letter of invitations drafted and draft agenda developed It is hoped to convene inaugural meetings of both before the next WSLG but it will be tight!

4. 4 Initial meeting held with DWA Champion 2 structures are in place: an internal DWA PSC and a Reference Group The latter has not met for a while The following documents have been developed: DWA Position paper on Climate Change Draft framework for the CC response strategy Assistance has been requested with the development of a Response Strategy DWA establishing a directorate responsible for climate change

5. 5 Initial meeting held with DWA Champion Reference Group is on hold until 2010 Provincial Consultation workshops are underway Bi-laterals with Agriculture are underway DWA workshop planned for December to assist with the development of Provincial WfGD implementation plans

6. 6 Met on 29 September 2009 to discuss ToR Draft ToR compiled but not yet adopted Meeting to develop action plan postponed Key highlights of high-level objective: To initiate, monitor and report on a nation-wide WCWDM programme including providing appropriate advise on legislation and policies Key actions proposed: Advise in the development of an information management system Monitor development of an annual State of WCDM report

7. 7 HIV/AIDS Core group met in September and agreed to the merger with the other SP items Terms of Reference have been revised Meeting set to agree on final ToR, high- level objective and action plan
