Broadly consistent position on financing the SDGs emerging: aid is a small part of financing development in general; financing needs to come from private and public sources, domestic and international
Reports on financing the SDGs consistently emphasize the need to make development cooperation more effective, through implementing Paris/Busan principles
Little specificity on how this will affect aid architecture in health. In the short term at least, international public finance for health will remain fragmented across multiple channels and financing modalities. Role of BRICS

5. Future options for IHP+
Comprehensive IHP+: continue current strategic directions, updated to reflect post 2015 priorities
Slimline IHP+: continue current strategic directions, updated to reflect post 2015 priorities, but reduced work plan that focuses on selected functions
IHP+++: merge with another partnership or initiative, more outcome oriented
End IHP+: key functions continued in individual agencies
