2. OUR OBJECTIVE
OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO STUDY THE RELATION BETWEEN THE LENGTH OF THE STRING AND TIME

3. DESIGN A FAIR TEST variable to be change: ~ length of string
 variables to be constant 
~shape of parachute 
~the material of plastic
~the weight of the load

4. Materials we used 4 cotton string Wood ruler A pair of scissors
Plastic sheet
Tape ( load)

5. Procedures Prepare 2 plastic sheets of areas 30cm x 30cm
Prepare 8 strings with 4 strings length of 20cm and 4 strings with the length of 40cm
Make 4 holes in each corner of the both plastic sheet
Tie the string to the 4 corner of the plastic
We threw the parachutes from 6th floor to 3rd floor

9. Background knowledge
There are 2 forces working on the parachute – gravity is pulling it down, but air resistance is slowing it down. The parachute has a big surface area and the curved shape helps to catch the air, always be stronger so sooner or later the parachute will land

10. DISCUSSION
When we dropped the parachute , we dropped it from different position. We should drop it from same position

11. Conclusion
The longer the string the slower it falls , because the air resistance is higher

12. Our goal 
It was my school project , and I thought it will be boring but turned not to be boring. It was quite interesting and fun doing the project and got some new experience
