The District will provide reimbursement for Allowable Expenses subject to availability of funds, entity allocations and annual appropriation. Allowable Expenses are determined by the District Board of Managers and reviewed annually. In compliance with applicable State laws, this is a prospective policy. No previously purchased items or services will be considered for reimbursement. (Current year billing of multi-year contracts will be considered on a case-by-case basis) All expenses must be approved by the District, in advance, to receive reimbursement. PSAPs must submit an Application for Funding consisting of the expenditures the PSAP is requesting. All applications must be received by June 30th. The deadline to submit the Reimbursement Request is August 31st.

6 Application Process From the District’s website ( click on the “PSAP” tab, then “PSAP Assistance Program”; From the PSAP Assistance webpage, click on the “FY2012” icon; then the “Application” icon.  If you have not already created an account, please do so at this time.  (TC911 website under re-development) Once you have successfully created an account, click on “Apply”, then “TC9-1-1 PSAP Assistance Program”.  Complete the application and upload your documentation where indicated.

8 FY2013 Allowable Expenses 9-1-1 related recording systems and maintenance costs. 9-1-1 related CAD system upgrades and maintenance costs. Fire Station alerting hardware and software 9-1-1 related Professional Services Initial purchase of a call accounting or telephony management information system (MIS) if the PSAP does not already have such a system. 9-1-1 related Maintenance Contracts Training, including “back-fill” of position TECLOSE Classes Teambuilding and specialized classes Potential state-mandated classes

9 FY2013 Allowable Expenses 9-1-1 related Dispatch Furniture and equipment 9-1-1 related Dispatch center minor remodeling Backup Power support for dispatch/radio infrastructure UPS Generator Uniforms for Dispatch Personnel (“Sample” must be submitted with request) Personality assessment for Dispatch personnel Emergency Telephone Notification Systems EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatch) Limited related Professional Memberships Limited related Travel Expenses

New fulfillment center for Public Education supplies Brio Direct – 2703 Marshall St. Fort Worth, Texas 76111 Pub ed materials can be ordered online at publicedstore.tc911.org Alisa will add photos of pub ed materials to the storefront Target launch date – December 15, 2012. Be sure to let Alisa know when you have good calls, especially involving kids, so she can get positive Media about 9-1-1 April’s Telecommunicator Appreciation Event will be a Ranger’s game, with food and entertainment on the roof area like last time Tentative date: Saturday, April 20, 2013 PSAP Managers consensus to streamline pub ed materials disbursement process. Fire Safety educators, crime prevention officers, school resource officers, etc. within each city will request pub ed materials from their respective communications centers and not the district Target launch date – January 1, 2013.
